Your cabinets have been finished with a lacquer coating, which provides long lasting protection against damage and average wear and tear. This is one of the most durable finishes available, and requires very little effort to keep clean. However, we do advise users to use the knobs and pulls to open the cabinet doors. Natural oils from hands as well as finger nails can damage the finishes making the finish more prone to wear and tear.
HOW TO CLEAN
Wipe down cabinet surfaces with a soft cloth soaked in a mild solution of vinegar & water OR a mild dish soap & water. To avoid water marks from forming, be sure to wipe the surface dry after every cleaning.
Regular cleaning will help in maintaining the appearance of your cabinets.
CLEANERS TO AVOID
Cream cleaners or any other cleaners with abrasives - solvent based cleaners e.g.: Windex -Products designed for unfinished wood - Wax based cleaners & Protectors - Silicone based cleaners e.g.: Pledge - Bleach or bleach-based solutions.
ONE YEAR WARRANTY
Barzotti Woodworking warrants to the purchaser that all cabinets manufactured will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a one-year period from the original date of installation. Barzotti Woodworking will repair or replace any defective part at no cost to the customer.
CLAIM PROCEDURES
To make a claim under this warranty, the purchaser must notify Barzotti Woodworking of the defect in writing. A proof of purchase must accompany the warranty request. Barzotti Woodworking will respond to the request and set up a service call if damage is a warranty item.
LIMITATIONS
This warranty shall not apply to:
1. Any damage caused by negligence or abuse not viewed or considered normal everyday use.
2. Any defects to the surface caused by normal wear and tear or colour change and fading from time.
3. Any work, repairs, or damage by any individual other than Barzotti Woodworking.
4. Water damage.
LAMINATE COUNTERTOPS
Countertops are warranted from manufacturer defects for a period of one year. Any installed with scratches, chips or other damage must be reported within 48 hours and before other trades begin work. Barzotti Woodworking uses a catalyzed glue at countertop joints, helping to prevent moisture penetration. If moisture penetration does occur, causing the countertop to swell, Barzotti Woodworking LTD. reserves the right to determine the extent of warranty coverage. Barzotti Woodworking will not be held responsible for costs incurred for repair.
